JOSEF ŽÁK – VIOLIN - VOCALS
In Giant Mountains, where I was born, people do not join in singing over a glass of savoury wine, as they do in Moravia. In the mountains the weather is gloomy and cold for most of the year, no vines are grown there, and local people usually see the vintage festivals only on TV.
ADÉLA DRECHSEL – VIOLIN - VOCALS
I grew up in the town of Hranice na Moravě; during my school years I studied classical music, but also attended a fiddle band, which opened the magical world of folklore for me.
EVA ŠUŠLÍKOVÁ - VIOLA - VOCALS
I first encountered folklore during my studies in Prague; although my major was clarinet, at that time I also started to play the double bass, and by chance I met the ensemble „The Spring“ („Jaro“) and their band.
